We work with the "flow" of your space, eliminate clutter, edit existing furniture, and suggest rental furniture and accessories.

Home Staging: Our Step-by-Step Process


We schedule an site visit to discuss design, space and budget goals. At this point, I ask for a retainer fee in order to proceed with a home staging proposal. Our staging contracts are typically for a period of 3 months, with the option to extend.


Next, my team and I develop a home staging proposal for approval. This includes an inventory of existing items for reuse, selection of rental furniture/accessories, design plan, labor costs and timeline. 


Once we have received your signed proposal, we schedule the staging. We ask for a full deposit on rental items and labor costs at this point. The staging process typically takes two to three days, depending on the size of your space. We coordinate cleaning service, existing furniture storage, furniture/accessory delivery and installation.


Once staging is complete, the real estate agency will photograph the space and list your home for sale. I assist the photographer in determining the best views to capture the style of the space.


We arrange to break down the staging once you have scheduled your closing. We return rental items and retrieve your unused items from storage. Break down typically takes one to two days.

Our goal is to provide a memorable first impression! 


Home Staging fees are based on size and scope of project. We provide you with an overall and itemized estimate, including designer rate (calculated by number of hours), furniture/accessory rental, labor and storage. Contact me to discuss pricing in more detail!
